Chicago is extending its design initiatives for remaking Navy Pier to the public on Tuesday and Wednesday nights, as the City will host two public forums that will display in total five visions for the future of this popular tourist attraction. International design teams have created plans to improve the aesthetics and functionality of the Pier as a public space and will present their designs to interested Chicagoans tonight and tomorrow night. Each team will reveal their vision in a 25-minute presentation and participate in a Q&A session with the audience immediately after. Three designs will be showcased in the first forum scheduled for Tuesday, January 31, from 6-8 p.m. at the Museum of Contemporary Art, 220 E. Chicago. The last two designs will be featured Wednesday, February 1, from 6-7:30 at the museum.
