New Report: Best Practices for Transparency, Accountability and Citizen Participation

The Transparency and Accountability Initiative (T/AI) has been reaching out to leading experts across a wide range of open government fields to gather their input on current best practice and the practical steps that participants and other governments can take to achieve it.


The result is the document linked below that compiles the latest trends and insights in transparency, accountability and citizen participation across 15 areas of governance, ranging from broad categories such as access to information, service delivery and budgeting to more specific sectors such as forestry, procurement and climate finance.


Although we have not finished the entire report, our cursory glance along with the previous  materials the Transparency and Accountability Initiative has produced suggests that it will be an informative piece on current trends.
