Discussing the Civil Rights Movement

August 28, 1963 was a day that all should remember. It was then that The Great March on Washington took place and Martin Luther King subsequently gave his historic "I Have a Dream Speech," which can be watched in it entirety here. CBS for their own part aired a 30-minute roundtable discussion featuring James Baldwin, Marlon Brando, Harry Belafonte, Charlton Heston, Joseph L. Mankiewicz and Sidney Poitier.


As its anniversary is quickly approaching, we suggest taking the time to relive those tumultuous times with this interestingly and lively discussion.
