October 10-16, 2011, the world’s top speakers will gather with Chicago’s best thinkers to participate in Chicago Ideas Week (CIW), a city-wide campaign that will “create an ecosystem of innovation, exploration, and intellectual recreation.” The goal of this collaboration is to build new initiatives that will dub the City of Chicago the City of Big Ideas.
During this week, members of the community can purchase tickets for a variety of events. These include:
CIW TALKS: 90-minute programs featuring 2-6 speakers presenting on various themes at venues throughout Chicago.
CIW LABS: unique, behind-the-scenes experiences allowing intimate groups a glimpse into the inner workings of businesses and institutions that are otherwise unavailable to the public.
CIW MEGATALKS: programs featuring distinguished and globally recognized speakers.
CIW PARTNER PROGRAMS: CIW PARTNER PROGRAMS are official CIW events that are co-curated with CIW Partners. All programs subscribe to the same goals of connectivity and innovation as other Chicago Ideas Week events, but provide a unique perspective based on the CIW Partner’s specific area of expertise.
